Tiger Family,
Due to the possibility of freezing rain and icy roads, Gunter ISD has decided the safest course of action is to cancel school on Thursday, February 3rd.
- All after school activities will be canceled.
We will continue to monitor the situation overnight to determine the course of action for Friday, February 4th.

Good Morning! The February issue of the Tiger Times is now available for viewing and/or download at https://5il.co/150ve.

Tiger Family,
We are working through the possibility of severe weather conditions that might cause us to delay or cancel school at the end of this week. Please know that we don’t take these decisions lightly, and will keep the best interest of our students and faculty in mind. Safety is always our priority in these situations. With this in mind, we will make the decision once we have surveyed the road conditions and notify you of our decision as quickly as possible. The message will be sent via email, phone call, GISD App notification, website posting and social media postings.

REMINDER! Today is the last day to purchase a 21-22 middle school yearbook. Be sure to get your order to the middle school.

Tiger Track Painting Update: The paint crew got a lot of work done this weekend but will be putting the finishing touches on the track this morning. They plan to be done mid-day today 1/24. Please avoid the track area today to let the paint dry.
Thanks!

We had to reschedule the track repainting due to the weather. The paint crew is now scheduled to begin Saturday morning (1/22) and finish by the end of the day Sunday.
If you plan to get out and enjoy the weather this weekend at Tiger Stadium, please be mindful of the crew as they work.

The track at Tiger Stadium is going to be re-painted beginning this afternoon (1/19) through tomorrow evening (weather permitting). Please DO NOT use the facility during this time. Thank you!

All year long, they cheer for the other teams... but now it’s time for the cheerleaders to head to competition. Your TIGER TEAMS are cheering for you today!

We are excited to welcome our students back to school for the 2nd semester on Tuesday, January 4th!
Please be mindful of the school buses that will be back on the roads. Red lights mean STOP for our students safety.
