There are two very important changes listed in this post regarding December 8th and December 20th. Please be sure to read both.
First off, a big congratulations to our Tiger Football Team on their Regional Championship!
Our next game will be played on Friday, December 8th at Abilene Christian University beginning at 6:00 PM. In order to give teachers, parents, staff members, bus drivers, etc ample time to make the trip and support our players and coaches, we will have a noon dismissal that day. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you or your family. These decisions take into account a staffing shortage and an extremely low attendance rate due to parents/teachers/families leaving early enough to support their kids.
Also, Wednesday, December 20th will be changed to a noon dismissal as well due to a major electrical shutdown at the High School and Middle School for construction purposes. This additional time is crucial for the electricians and our technology department to complete this project before the end of the Christmas break. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, it is critical that this project be completed before school begins again on January 9th.

Garner studios will be at the high school on Thursday, December 7th for GHS students who missed picture day, including seniors. Come ready for your photo. They will begin at 10 AM!
Mark your calendar to help us replenish the blood supply in our area. GHS HOSA is sponsoring a blood drive on December 6th in the high school parking lot from 9AM - 3PM. Please consider giving the gift of life this holiday season.
Last pep rally of the year! Friday, 12/1 @ 9:05am. Come Jingle All the Way to State with our Tigers and maybe even get a visit from the Big Guy himself! 🎅🏻🐯
Come and watch our Public Performance on 12/7 - 7:30 PM - Tickets $5 each. All proceeds will help the theatre department with performance costs.
Competition is at Princeton High School on Saturday, December 9th. You are welcome to attend! Admission to the competition is free.
The Week in Sports graphic (Week of Nov. 27)
Yearbook photo retake day for middle and high school students who missed the original photo day will be held on December 7th. GMS retakes will begin at 9 AM and GHS will follow around 10 AM. This includes seniors who missed having senior portraits taken.
