Gunter ISD would like to welcome Alyce Greer to the Tiger family! Alyce will be taking on the role as our Chief Financial Officer.
Alyce graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2005. She went on to earn her Masters of Science with a major in accounting from Texas A&M Commerce in 2015. She has spent the last 19 years in the School Finance setting. During that time, she also earned the TASBO certification of registered school business administrator (RTSBA) in 2018.
Mrs. Greer spent the last 10 years at Gainesville ISD as the Director of Finance. Under her direction, the district maintained an “A” rating for FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas).
When she's not working, Alyce enjoys serving others through community service. She is a long-time member of the Gainesville Kiwanis Club and served as Treasurer of the North Texas Medical Center Foundation for the past 4 years. With her recent move to Grayson County, she is planning to get involved in Gunter and Grayson County.
Alyce is married with two wonderful daughters and two beautiful 9-month-old twin granddaughters. Their oldest daughter, Halie, is attending Texas Womens University and their youngest, Alyssa, will begin her college journey this fall at North Central Texas College.
