2024-2025 Welcome Letter from Mrs. Rogers
Effective with the 2014-2015 school year, the USDA National School Lunch Program requires each meal to include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein, and low fat milk. A student has to choose a minimum of 3 components, or choose all 5, and (1) of the components must be a fruit or vegetable. The Breakfast Program requires breakfast to consist of more grains and that 4 items from the required components be offered and a student must choose 3.
CHARGE POLICY:
Students are allowed to charge for reimbursable and non-reimbursable items, unless parent/guardian prohibits any charges. Money can be deposited in the student's account at the campus cafeteria or online using www.myschoolbucks.com. This may be done daily, weekly, or monthly. Parents may also choose items that may be charged by their students. Upon time that student starts to charge, notices are sent to home by letters, emails and/or notices in folders or handed to students at cashier stand. We ask that students not overdraw their accounts more than $10.00, however no student will be denied a reimbursable meal. Parents are expected to promptly fund overdrawn balances; all efforts will be made to collect unpaid meal debt.
