This will be my 10th year teaching Art, and my 2nd year as a Gunter Tiger!

I am a passionate artist and teacher. It is my belief that everyone can create, and it is my joy to help student each tap into their own artistic genius. Whether it is drawing, painting, sculpture, architecture, digital art, fibers...there is something for everyone to get excited about learning! Our Gunter Tiger artists have incredible ideas and it is my goal to empower them to "own the process" of making original and authentic work. In my classroom, the students are the artists, and it is their studio. I enjoy watching them develop their own voices and express themselves through visual art. I am the encourager, and am here to help support them in their artistic journeys.

My husband and I have 3 kids (Marlee is 17, Tag is 8, and Westlynn is 4). We enjoy life in the country - we have a huge garden, 50+ chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, and goats. I enjoy growing, cooking, and eating food with my family, going on adventures, and painting portraits and other artwork.
